Blanket of My Life is a crochet blanket made from granny squares in a quilt-like fashion. Each square represents a part of the artist's life- either a person, place, thing, or event- that has had an important impact on her. Life is constantly changing and you are constantly experiencing new things, which can cause you to forget about what you’ve already experienced. Vanessa hopes that when people see her blanket and get a look into the key parts of her life they will reflect about what their blanket might look like.
