The creative process of making an anamorphic portrait that includes 5 layers of self-growth would involve a combination of technical skill, creativity, and personal reflection. My first step was creating an image that would be the foundation for the portrait. From there, I would work on each layer individually. To make sure the layers were cohesive, I stacked them on top of each other to help with alignment. Luckily the guidance of Arts Scholars introduced me to the Pomodoro technique. Using the Pomodoro technique I was able to work intently on one layer at a time, which allowed me to stay focused and avoid burnout. Picasso was a big inspiration for my project, By studying his techniques and experimenting with different materials and textures, I could create a portrait that not only reflects my personal growth but also showcases my technical skill and creativity. Specifically the book, “Picasso and Portraiture: Representation and Transformation.” by Pablo Picasso.”
