Missed training and want to participant?  There are several ways to self train and you can select the one(s) you think work best:

• • UMBC VITA provides an EdX course that is a good way to get started.  It will also explain how to take the certification tests.

  • VITA-Train provides a good training program.

  • The CASH Campaign of Maryland provides a lot of training resources.

The tests are open book, open internet.  You can take each test twice.  If you don't pass the first time, schedule time with an experienced volunteer to review before you do it again.  You can only see missed answers immediately after you complete the test so don't navigate away until you note those questions.
