Topic covered to explore in greater detail
Artificial Intelligence, specifically natural language processing has revolutionized language learning. Students and teachers use AI tools such Grammarly to assist with spelling and grammar errors. ChatGPT provides guidance by generating content for learners of all language levels. For several years, tools have emerged to support automatic speech recognition (ASR); image-description generation; plagiarism detection; assessment and grading; mathematical expression interpretation; graphing and mind mapping; and improved spelling, grammar, and writing (Gibson, 2023).
