About Me

My name is Tiffany Powell and welcome to my teaching portfolio. I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Art in Political Science-International Relations and Comparative Politics and earned earned certificates in Diplomacy and Teaching English as a Foreign Language. I am currently earning my Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages with University of Maryland Baltimore County. I have been an educator in K-12 for nine years in South Korea and the U.S. Currently I am teaching in with Fulbright at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Iasi, Romania. 

My joy for education started  in South Korea teaching middle students in the small town, Miryang. Those two years inspired me to pursue a career education and work in creating curriculum for English language learners and professional development programs for teachers.
