Values

The ACED Lab consists of people with varied backgrounds and identities. We are committed to fostering diversity and equity, because we do not think that diversity and equity are qualities that matter only to so-called marginalized/minoritized populations; when we strive for diversity and equity, everyone's experience is enhanced. We also firmly believe that good science requires diversity and equity. Consequently, creating a welcoming, inclusive environment for all is important to us. To this end, lab members are provided with a Shared Expectations document, which is a living document that is continuously updated based on members' feedback.

The ACED lab does not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind - this applies to both lab members and participants.
