This project examines the role of emotion regulation in the association between the experience of racial discrimination and emotional well-being in people of Asian descent. This project is supported by the UMBC Strategic Award for Research Transitions (START) award.

This study uses a word association task to investigate how individual differences in semantic memory may be related to post-event processing, a negatively-valenced and difficult-to-control thought pattern experienced by individuals with social anxiety. This study is supported by UMBC's Center for Social Science Scholarship Small Research Grant.
