I am a senior biochemistry and molecular biology major, graduating this semester. Over the past 4 years, I have conducted research at WRAIR, UMass Chan Medical School, and here at UMBC in the Green lab. After graduation, I will be working as a medical assistant and applying to medical schools.

I am a biochemistry and molecular biology major with a minor in psychology at UMBC. I am a member of the U-RISE Scholars Program, Meyerhoff Scholars Program, HHMI Scholars Program, UMBC Honors College, and Phi Mu. I will be graduating in May, and working at Janelia Research Campus as a research assistant while I apply to neuroscience graduate programs.

I am a Biochemistry major graduating from UMBC this May. I have spent my undergrad career working in an organic chemistry lab on campus where I fell in love with the subject. I am taking the next year to continue work in organic chemistry research before I start a Ph.D program.

I am a biochemistry and molecular biology student at UMBC, pursuing my second bachelor's degree. For the past year, I have worked in the Koirala lab studying the structural biology of RNA viruses. This fall, I will be joining the PhD program in molecular biophysics at Johns Hopkins University.

I am an Undergraduate Researcher at Dr. Sutton’s lab, a teaching assistant for Cell Biology, and a STEM LLC Peer Leader. After graduation, I plan on taking a gap year and apply to MD-PhD programs.

This summer I will be going to MIT to continue to gain more research experience in their summer research program. In graduate school, I hope to study chemistry that has medical applications, where I can impact many people.

I am a Chemistry major, graduating in May of 2024. I am a member of Dr. Arnolds research group, and have completed computational work with Dr. Bennett's lab as well. I am currently working with NASA on characterizing the electronic information of novel-perovskites for energy storage. After graduation I will pursue a PhD in Physical Chemistry.

I am a 4th year biochemistry Ph.D. candidate, working in Dr. Michael Summers’ lab. I have been published as a co-author on two papers– one published in Science and one in Viruses. I am a GRISE Meyerhoff fellow and was awarded the Attillo R. and Myrtle L. Jackson award. I have been the President of the UMBC Chapter of Young Alumni for the last 2.5 years.

My name is Leslie and I am a Chemistry Ph.D. Candidate at UMBC in Dr. Bradley Arnold's research group. I study and develop laser spectroscopies and I am the president and founder of the SPIE UMBC Student Chapter. Outside of school I spend my time playing Special Olympics sports, petting dogs, and cooking!

I am a PhD candidate in the department of chemistry and biochemistry at UMBC. I am currently conducting research in Dr. Aaron T. Smith's lab on the post translational modification known as arginylation. During my research I hope to biophysically characterize higher-order eukaryotic arginyl transferases (ATE1s) that catalyze arginylation.
