In this lesson plan, I design a group activity for 5th-grade students. Students are divided into three or four-person groups, collect some information about a planet they have chosen, and then create a brochure in Google Slides about what they learned.
This lesson plan aligns with the ISTE Standard for Knowledge Constructors; students gather information from specified resources, evaluate it, and prioritize the content they will include in their brochure.
In this immersive lesson plan, I design a space exploration mission to discover how the Hubble Telescope works. Students use VR technology to gain a deeper understanding of scientific facts. I also include a group activity so students can learn from their peers and reinforce their understanding.
This lesson plan aligns with the ISTE Standards for Knowledge Constructors and Innovative Designers because it is based on research, involves analyzing information, and has students create a diagram or model to show their understanding.
I designed this educational website as a final project for one of my courses. The website focuses on image formation in a plane mirror and the law of reflection. I organized the content as a complete learning module that includes an overview of the topic, a video module, a virtual lab, concept summaries, solved examples, assessment questions, and accessibility support. In designing this website.
I also tried to align with Bloom’s Taxonomy, guiding students from understanding the basic concept to applying it in a virtual lab, analyzing examples, and evaluating their learning through practice questions. Through this project, I explored how Google Sites can be used to create a structured and interactive learning environment that supports deeper understanding and active learning.
I created this project as a final assignment using Canva to design both the prototype and the video, the two required components. The project focuses on making math more engaging and less stressful for students by using storytelling, hands-on exploration, and collaborative discussion.
In this lesson design, students first connect with a familiar story, then use physical fraction pieces to compare and explore mathematical ideas, and finally discuss their reasoning before moving to formal notation. Through this project, I tried to show how multimedia and visual design can support students’ understanding, reduce math anxiety, and encourage mathematical thinking in a more meaningful and accessible way.
