UMass SAA - Ambassadors

Student Ambassadors help at various in-person and online meetings and events by welcoming guests, providing information, and answering questions about life at UMass. Student Ambassadors gain hands-on learning in professional settings and help bridge the gap between campus leaders and the student experience. Becoming a Student Ambassador is a great way to network with alumni and attend high-profile events like the Chancellor's Breakfast at Homecoming. Football Pregame Events at the Chancellor's Residence

For the 2023 and 2024 football seasons, SAA Ambassadors were invited to assist at pregame events hosted by Chancellor Reyes. Ambassadors had the opportunity to transport high-profile donors to and from the events, network and dine with them, and assist guests to the suite in the stadium. In many games, an Ambassador was given the chance to join Chancellor Reyes and his guests in the suite for the game.

Boston Networking Night

The UMass Club in Boston, Massachusetts, hosted 30 industry experts to give seniors and young alumni the opportunity to network in an amazing venue. Three SAA Ambassadors went and helped hand out nametags, greeted industry experts, and set up. After, they were invited to join the event and enjoy the food, people, and breathtaking view.

Networking Night

At our annual Networking Night, Ambassadors are paired with an alum of their choice. The Ambassador will join their alum for dinner before the event and ensure they have what they need during the event. This is an excellent opportunity for Ambassadors to network with an alum in their field and make a lasting connection!
