Michelle Ciccone is a PhD student in the Department of Communication at UMass Amherst. She studies educational technology and was previously a K-12 technology integration specialist. Michelle is the co-founder and co-chair of the Responsible Technology Coalition.
Harshita is a public policy masters student studying the impact of automation in access to public services. She is also interested in accountability policies for AI and large platforms. As co-chair of RTC, Harshita aims at bridging the gap between social scientists and technologists in order to further the advancement of public interest technologies.
Oscar Youngquist is a PhD student studying artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotics. As a co-chair of the Responsible Technology Coalition, he facilitates interdisciplinary discussions concerning the impact of AI in people's professional, social, and civic lives.
Shriya is a first year undergraduate majoring in computer science and mathematics, and is a member of the Responsible Technology Coalition. She is passionate about data science, environmentalism, and of course, public interest technology.
Sophia Schweik is a senior in the BDIC department studying Creation, Marketing, and Documentation. She is interested in transdisciplinary creative projects that aim to serve the public interest.
Morgan Miller is a senior in the art department at UMass. He grew up in Amherst and loves calling the pioneer valley home. His work is often multimedia and involves engaging the audience in unconventional ways.
