We are a team of graduate students who work with disability services and aim to help students access higher education. We help students understand how their disability may impact their college experience both in the classroom and in their daily lives.
Learning specialists can help you manage your assignments, use different time management tools, and understand your own organization style. We can also work with you to understand what motivates you and how to capitalize on that motivation.
From test taking to lecture notes, we can help you develop not only successful study habits but identify your academic goals.
Navigating college with a disability can be a challenge. Learning specialists can help you advocate for yourself, understand how to use your accommodations, and provide social support in your transition to UMass.
