We are looking for your help in finding mental health consumers to participate in our paid research study. Our intervention, ConnectionsRx, focuses on increasing community participation of young adults with serious mental illnesses.
We are looking for individuals who:
Are between the ages of 18 and 30
Have an SMI diagnosis (bipolar, major depression, or a schizophrenia spectrum disorder)
Have the ability to speak and understand English
Willing to participate in a social-media peer support and a distance-based community participation intervention
Have cell phone access
Have the ability to provide informed consent
If consumers are eligible to participate, they will be asked to complete 3 research interviews, which will take approximately 60 minutes each. In appreciation of their time, they will receive a $30 gift card for each interview completed.
Participants may also be enrolled in a 6-month online program to support them with ideas and make plans to participate in more recreation in the community. The program has 1-1 phone call or video meetings with a recreational therapist every other week, and a peer support Discord group.
We ask that you share the attached flier within your organization so that it reaches those who may be eligible to participate.
If have any questions, please contact us at connectionsrx@temple.edu or visit our website: sites.temple.edu/connectionsrx

Happy Spring!
Spring class data has been synced to Clockwork, so now is the time to log in and set up your accommodations for spring semester.
If you are already registered with Disability Services (DS), your schedule is set for Fall semester, and you are not in need of any new accommodations, please
log in to Clockwork,
select “Review and Request Accommodations (Submit Letters)” and
follow the prompts to send accommodation letters to your faculty.
If a faculty member is not listed, you can check back to send those letters once an instructor is assigned and/or you can print your letter to share with the instructor once classes begin.
If you are new to DS and have not met with an Access Coordinator, please follow this link for instructions on how to register with Disability Services.
You are welcome to book exams (with 5 business days’ notice) on Clockwork, as well as schedule final exams. The deadline for final exam booking is Friday, November 15, 2024 at 5 p.m. If you regularly use the exam center, we recommend booking all of your exams as soon as they are scheduled or listed on your syllabus.
