Fall 2023: Intro to Environmental Science. I led discussions, created course material for discussion sections, taught the lecture various times, and held office hours. I look forward to more teaching opportunities in the future!
Spring 2025: Intro to Geology. I led the lab for this course and was the lecture TA. In lab I helped students learn the basics of geology. In lecture I helped plan exams and grade assignments for the students.

Extracurriculars
Starting academic year 2024-25 I am the president of the GGSO. This organization aims to provide a welcoming and supporting environment for new and current graduate students. This is done through trips and events planned and paid by the organization such as: kayaking, catered dinners, game nights, etc.
Also starting academic year 2024-25 , I am the first official CNS liaison for my department. This role is similar to the goals of the GGSO, but includes extra responsibilities such as reporting graduate student reviews of events, department related reviews, etc. I then report these comments from the students to the CNS which in turn implements new programs to help foster communities throughout all the graduate programs in the CNS.
I am captain of an intramural volleyball team here at UMass Amherst. I have been captain for two years now and organize this group each semester. Our team is called Natural Disasters. It is a lot of fun and a great way to bond with graduate students both in and outside my department! It's also an amazing way to blow off some steam and be social :)
In addition to volleyball, I love attending indoor spin classes to get my endorphins going throughout the week!
