Climate and Ice Sheets
My research uses numerical models to reconstruct past polar ice sheets and climate. The goals of my research are to put past climates into the context of potential future outcomes of climate change. I use geologic data such as drill cores, pollen, isotopes, paleo-environment reconstructions, etc. to help my models represent past climate as accurately as possible.
In addition to research, I am president of the Geoscience Graduate Student Organization (GGSO) and a College of Natural Science Graduate Liaison. I also participate in scientific outreach through the Letters to a Pre-Science program (LPS).
