Jess is an associate professor at University of Massachusetts Amherst Elaine Marieb College of Nursing where she/they also serves as Associate Dean for Equity and Inclusion. Her/their research concerns the intersection where nursing, philosophy, history, and activism meet, informed by feminist science and technology studies. Jess is currently serving as co-editor-in-chief for the journal Nursing Philosophy.

Celeste Surreira is a clinical associate professor and director of undergraduate programs at the Elaine Marieb College of Nursing. Surreira teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses, leveraging extensive experience in enhancing health systems and care delivery. Her research interests include nursing education, women’s health, and health system improvements. Surreira has presented locally, nationally, and internationally on topics such as emergency care, health equity, and diverse representation in nursing simulations.

Leonora Thomas, MS, APRN, ACNP-BC, is a senior lecturer and undergraduate clinical placement coordinator at the UMass Amherst Elaine Marieb College of Nursing.
