This unofficial guide was created to serve as a resource for anyone who notices an accessibility barrier at UMass Amherst. This website has various options to report accessibility barriers, find Disabled community support, and evaluate next steps at your own pace.
Some pages have collapsable text boxes to prevent someone from needing to excessively scroll to reach their desired resource. Any text that lacks punctuation at the end is a collapsable text box. You can select it to see the information underneath and deselect it to close the box. There is an example below.
The text in collapsable text boxes has a unique linking convention for efficiency. For most links, the word "Link" and a number are in brackets to the right of the text indicating that the sentence or bullet point is linked to an outside website.
