The Peptide Laboratory Universiti Malaya (Peptide-Lab) is a subset of an inter-faculty research group, the Drug Discovery and Development Research Group (DDDRG), led by Professor Noorsaadah Abd Rahman from the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Universiti Malaya. This sub-group was established in 2019 by Dr Abdullah Al-Hadi, a Senior Lecturer at the Department, who is a medicinal chemist/biologist by training. Peptide-Lab focuses on the fundamentals research of peptides, with focus on applied medical therapeutics and agricultural fields.
