WHAT IS ACRO

Acro short for Acrobatic gymnastics is a combination of gymnastics, dance, and acrobatic group elements (like Cirque du Soleil). Acrobatic gymnasts perform thrilling dynamic moves and graceful balance skills by working together as a team. Acro is fun for athletes of any age and athletic ability. This sport is a partner sport requiring athletes of all ages, shapes, sizes, and genders (Co-ed). Athletes can progress in the sport from recreational level to international elite groups as well as scholarship opportunities for acrobatics and tumbling in college.

Our program provides athletes with physical benefits like balance, flexibility, strength, and agility, and encourages life skills such as teamwork, dedication, perseverance, and confidence. We have two types of teams:

Open Team - Athletes who are new to the sport, minimal travel to competitions (<4 hours), less rigorous practice hours (3/week or less), lower cost commitment.

JO Team - Returning and advanced athletes, travel to competitions out of state and region, more competitive and rigorous training hours (5-10 hours), more financial commitment, more emphasis on strength, dance, and technique.
