Fundations Launch Workshops
When: Depending on the Level you teach:
August 14th from 9am-3pm - Level 3
August 15th from 9am-3pm - Level 1

Fundations lays the groundwork for life-long literacy. As a supplemental word study program that complements a core literacy program, students in grades K-3 receive a systematic program in critical foundational skills.
The Fundations Launch Workshops provide the guidance and practice needed to effectively begin teaching Fundations at your level.

What: Learn more about learning differences and how you can help students gain skills and feel more confident:
Increase understanding of how specific learning differences are defined, why accommodations are equitable, and why students should be encouraged to use specific accommodations.
Learn to match intervention strategies and accommodations to specific skill development in reading, writing, and math.
Expand your tech tool box to help students embed assistive technology into their daily practice to edit their writing, organize their ideas and research, and write more complex sentences.
