General Information


On Arrival

Report to the TD Desk on arrival to receive any important notices.

The TD desk will NOT be located on Level 2 as it has been in previous years. Please see below.

Spirit Link

Make sure that you enter your spirit scores before midnight on Sunday 10th March, otherwise your submissions will not be counted!
NOTE: All spirit score submissions will be published post-event. Comments will only be redacted to remove any offensive language if applicable

PLEASE NOTE:

  • DO NOT THROW ANYWHERE NEAR THE CYCLING TRACK. There are huge safety risks if a disc gets on to the velodrome track, so please keep throwing limited to dedicated areas only or outside.
  • KEEP THE SIDELINES CLEAR - Gaps in between pitches are for safety reasons. Only players playing in the games on pitch can stand on the sidelines in between the pitches, and please do not fill them with items such as kit/bags/discs - all such items will be removed by the TD. Please use other areas to keep your belongings and to watch the games.
  • THE PLAYING AREA - Please do a visual check of the playing area and remain vigilant for any potential hazards on and close to the pitch.
  • TAKE OFF YOUR WATCH/FITBIT - We urge players to adhere to rule 3.4. in the Official WFDF Rules of Ultimate 2017.

This year we DO NOT have access to Level 2.

The semi-circle area at the end of the hall is available for players to chill out in/keep their belongings.

The TD desk will be located outside the gym area on Level 1.

Please do not throw near the pitches as games are taking place or run up/down the walkway around the infield or near the offices. Warm ups should take place outside or in changing rooms away from other users.

There are also plenty of lockers and changing rooms for players to use throughout the weekend. Please keep the all areas clear of bags (other than the semi-circle at the end) and please be respectful of other Arena users when using areas such as the café.

No throwing near the cycle track or in areas where there are other users of the facility.

Water

We recommend that players bring AT LEAST two reusable 1 litre water bottles with them.

Please make sure you remove your water bottle(s) from the sideline if you are not playing.

Showers & Toilets

Changing rooms, showers and toilets on the ground floor. Please do not use the toilets/changing rooms near the lifts as these are for the Arena's gym users only.

FIRST AID

First Aid can be located by in the first aid room on the ground floor. There will also be ice available at the TD desk if needed.

Please note, we are not able to offer the facility of driving players to the hospital, nor sending a volunteer to look after and stay with them.

If you come across a fire...

Please raise the alarm at the point closest to you or inform a member of staff immediately if one cannot be located. Then immediately make your way to a safe location far away from the hazard as directed by the Arena staff. Team captains should ensure that all of their team is accounted for and should then report to the TD to relay the information that their team is safe.
