Abstract Submission & Registration

Please submit:

Abstract: 150–300 words, IMRAD structure (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion)
Keywords: 5–8
Indication of relevant SDGs (please specify which Sustainable Development Goals your research addresses)
Short academic biography: up to 100 words
Language: English

Include author details:
Name, affiliation, country, ORCID iD (if available), and email address.

Submit final papers in .doc or .docx format to conference@uklo.edu.mk
Manuscripts must follow the Article Guidelines
Each paper may list no more than three (3) authors. Exceptions may be made for research or collaborative projects, provided that the corresponding author submits a clear justification and an Author Contributions Statement [https://credit.niso.org/] specifying the contribution of each author. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to accept or reject such submissions based on the adequacy of the justification.
Authors are asked to suggest two independent peer reviewers (not current or recent collaborators)

Publication & Participation

All accepted abstracts will be published in the UKLO AISC Book of Abstracts
Presented papers will be published in the double peer-reviewed UKLO Proceedings (ISSN: 2955-2648 (Print) | ISSN: 2955-2656 (Online), indexed in Google Scholar and Scilit.
The authors must be at least MA (Master’s) students.
Only papers presented are eligible for publication.
An author may appear once as the main author and once as a co-author.
Each paper may list no more than three (3) authors. Certificates of Participation will be issued to presenters.

Important Note on MDPI Journal Partnerships and Publication

The Conference Organizers do not select, organize, review, or submit manuscripts to MDPI journals on behalf of conference participants.

The MDPI journals are academic partners of the Conference. Interested authors may, at their own discretion and initiative, submit their manuscripts directly to the relevant MDPI journal for consideration. Any such submission is entirely optional and independent of the Conference Organizers and is subject to the journal’s own editorial policies, peer-review procedures, and publication criteria. Submission to an MDPI journal does not guarantee acceptance or publication.

Regarding the UKLO Proceedings, authors who wish to have their full-length article considered for publication in the UKLO Proceedings must explicitly indicate this at the time of submitting their article to the Conference. If an author does not indicate that the article is intended for consideration for the UKLO Proceedings, the Conference Organizers will not process the article for publication in the Proceedings.

The Conference Organizers are responsible exclusively for:

the preparation and publication of the UKLO Book of Abstracts; and
the review and publication of articles in the UKLO Proceedings, which constitute the official University publication resulting from the Conference.

Accordingly, participation in the Conference, publication in the UKLO Book of Abstracts, consideration for publication in the UKLO Proceedings, and submission to an MDPI journal are separate and independent processes.
