The International Conference on Islamic Finance, Entrepreneurship & Social Development (ICIFESD 2025) is a multidisciplinary platform organized by the Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies (ACIS), Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia. This hybrid conference aims to bring together academicians, researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers to explore innovative solutions and impactful research in Islamic finance, halal entrepreneurship, and community-based development grounded in maqasid shariah.

Ustaz Mohd Zamerey Abdul Razak
Chief Shariah Officer, Bank Kerjasama Rakyat Malaysia
Ustaz Mohd Zamerey Abdul Razak is the Chief Shariah Officer of Bank Rakyat and serves as a distinguished board trustee for three major institutions, including Yayasan Tok Kenali and the KUIS Foundation. With over two decades of experience in Shariah governance across prominent financial institutions such as Takaful Ikhlas and Asian Finance Bank, he is also a founding figure in Islamic education, a trusted waqf advisor, and an adjunct professor at various esteemed local and international universities.

Professor Dr Sharifah Faigah Syed Alwi
Professor, AAGBS and the Faculty of Business and Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA
A senior academic at Arshad Ayub Graduate Business School, with over two decades of distinguished service in Islamic finance scholarship. She is a prolific researcher and policy influencer, actively leading numerous high-impact grants in post-pandemic recovery models for debtors. With over 30 indexed publications and a growing international presence, her expertise spans Shariah-based financial literacy, value-based intermediation, through innovative Islamic finance solutions.
