We are thrilled to welcome you to the 3rd Geospatial Technology Innovation Competition (GeoTIC 3.0) 2026, brought to you by the Surveying & Geomatics Science Program, Department of Built Environment Studies and Faculty of Technology Built Environment, Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Perak Branch, Seri Iskandar Campus, Perak. 

GeoTIC 2026 will hightlight to encourage participant to present and exhibit their innovation research and results to the general public. In line with the rapid development of geospatial technology (GIS), this program also plays a role in introducing the applications of this technology to students specifically and the surrounding community.In addition to serving as a promotional platform for the Diploma in Geospatial Technology program, the organization of GeoTIC also supports the university's efforts in producing knowledgeable and highly skilled graduates to meet the rapidly growing demand in the GIS sector. 

GeoTIC 2026 Objectives:

1. To serve as a medium of exposure for students and the community regarding Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and its importance in various fields.  

2. To act as a platform to promote the latest GIS technology through exhibitions of equipment, innovative products, and applications in surveying, management, administration, and other related fields. 

3. To strengthen relationships and networks of collaboration between government institutions and the private sector, including surveyors, geospatial specialists, lecturers, and students of UiTM Perak Branch, Seri Iskandar Campus.
