PKE ENGINEERING CAPSTONE DESIGN EXHIBITION & COMPETITION
The School of Electrical Engineering, College of Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Cawangan Pulau Pinang successfully organized the PKE Engineering Capstone Design Exhibition & Competition 2024/2025. This program was held as part of the EEE611 Integrated System Design (Capstone) course and ETE621 Integrated Application Project. The objective of this event is to provide a platform for final-year engineering students to showcase their innovative projects. The event also served to enhance collaboration between academia and industry professionals.
The judging panel for the exhibition included distinguished industry and academic representatives. They brought their extensive expertise to evaluate the projects and provided valuable feedback to the students. The jury members were as follows:

A total of 28 groups participated in this exhibition, comprising 22 groups from course code Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) Electrical And Electronic Engineering (CEEE200) and 6 groups from Bachelor of Electronics Engineering Technology (Industrial Electronics) (CEEE211). These students showcased a wide range of creative and technical solutions, reflecting the knowledge and practical skills acquired throughout their academic journey focusing in Internet of Things area. In recognition of excellence in engineering design and innovation, several prestigious awards were presented to the most outstanding teams during the PKE Engineering Capstone Design Exhibition & Competition 2024/2025. The accolades included the IEM Innovation Excellence Award, Best Technical Innovation Award, Best Prototype Performance Award, Sustainable Design Award, Impactful Engineering Award, and Best Team Collaboration Award. These awards celebrated student achievements in areas such as innovation, design feasibility, sustainability, teamwork, and real-world application.
The event was made possible through the dedicated collaboration between the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) – Electronic Engineering Technical Division (EETD), the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Malaysia, and UiTM Penang Branch. Their steadfast support continues to play a vital role in nurturing future-ready graduates capable of meeting industrial and technological demands. Figures attached illustrate the scene from the event during the commencement of the judging sessions, award ceremony, showcasing representatives from IEM and IET alongside the winning teams, capturing the spirit of achievement and partnership that defines this event.

This seminar is a collaboration between UiTM and Emerix Sdn Bhd. The aimed of this seminar is exposing final-year students of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering UiTMCPP to a career path and providing opportunities for potential students to undergo industrial training with Emerix Sdn Bhd.

The industrial visit program involved 54 students from semester 5 and semester 6 under the course of Integrated Circuit Technology, Automation and VLSI System Design. Aemulus provide an insight to the design process and assembly of the various semiconductor tester for testing and manufacturing. This visit not only supports our academic objectives but also strengthens collaborative ties between Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and industry leaders such as Aemulus Sdn. Bhd., aligning our curriculum with industry expectations and enhancing students’ career readiness. We thank Aemulus Sdn. Bhd. for their warm reception and commitment to nurturing future engineering talents.

INTRODUCTON TO SEMICONDUCTOR FABRICATION PROCESS WORKSHOP
This two-day program involved 17 students from UiTM Pulau Pinang enrolled in the ETL652 course and 16 students from UiTM Shah Alam. The participants went through a practical wafer fabrication process and gained a fundamental understanding of key processes, equipment, and control parameters.

A total of 21 students from Bachelor of Electronic Engineering Technology (Industrial Electronics) with Honours Programme (CEEE211), Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Penang Branch conducted an industrial visit to the Watlow Sdn Bhd factory located in the Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kulim, Kedah.
The program director for this industrial visit is led by Mohamad Fauzan Muazzam and the advisor of this program is, Ir. Dr. Khairul Azman Ahmad.
This programmed aims to provide direct exposure to the students on the application of Industrial Control course learning in the real manufacturing industry environment.
The arrival of the UiTM delegation was warmly welcomed by Watlow Sdn Bhd Operations Director, CR Wong, together with Senior Director of Human Resources, Lili Sharhani Abd Rashid and Human Resources Officer, Mohd Basri Saad.

The FKE Innovation Fair 2025 was successfully held on 11 July 2025 at PTAR, UiTMCPP Permatang Pauh Campus. The event featured a total of 15 participating teams, consisting of 11 groups from the CEEE211 Programme (Integrated Application Design) and 4 groups from the CEEE200 Programme (Integrated System Design). The competition involved final-year students in their sixth (CEEE211) and seventh (CEE200) semester who were enrolled in the respective project-based design courses.
To provide students with the opportunity to showcase their creativity and innovation in developing integrated systems and applications.
To enhance students' communication and presentation skills in a professional setting.

The first Pre-Graduation Dinner was held to celebrate the students of CEEE211, Bachelor of Electronics Engineering Technology (Industrial Electronics), who are nearing the completion of their studies.
A total of 11 students will be undergoing a 28-week industrial training placement in their final semester as part of their academic journey.
The event was graced by the Head of the CEEE211 Program, Dr. Fadzil Dato' Ahmad, along with other dedicated lecturers who came to show their support and encouragement.
