PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION
Bachelor of Applied Language (Hons) Arabic Language for Professional Communication (LG242) is a programme specifically designed to nurture graduates who are competent and skilled in Arabic language communication, with background knowledge of Arabic linguistics, information technology, culture and workplace communication. This programme is designed for 6 semesters & 1 short semester (3 years) with 120 credits hours which include university courses, faculty/programme core courses and elective courses from other faculties.

During this pandemic Covid19, some of our students are facing hard time to follow their open and distance learning (ODL) due to lack of equipment and device such as laptop. With the initiative from LG242 lecturers and some individuals, LG242 has succeeded to raise fund to buy 2 new laptops for our underprivileged students. May this little help brings happiness to our students for a better learning.
14 October 2020 marked an important history to APB UiTM Shah Alam. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between LG242 programme under APB UiTM Shah Alam and Dar Al-Hadith Al Hassania, Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco has been signed for a period of 3 years to collaborate on academic agenda and student development programme. This MoU aims at enriching Arabic Language as one of the important world language as well as enhancing the teaching and learning of Arabic Language towards students from both institutions.
