Explore our roster of summer learning opportunities to sharpen your skills, master new strategies, and stay game-ready for next year's "Opening Day".
Trade Time Opportunities
Teachers have the flexibility to earn trade time based on their participation. During Summer Learning Opportunities, completing a full day of sessions earns 7 hours, while attending the full two-days earns a total of 14 hours. Trade off days are integrated into the academic calendar as Staff Holidays, allowing for professional development activities to be conducted outside of instructional time during designated teacher workdays. United ISD recognizes the financial commitment our educators make to their classrooms. To help ease this burden, we are proud to introduce the Teacher Depot—a premier resource hub providing easy access to a wide array of school supplies, instructional tools, and materials at no cost.
While the Depot is open to all UISD educators, it is specifically designed to support our new teachers as they build and establish their first learning environments.
