PURPOSE
United ISD is aware of the financial burden placed on their employees and the Teacher Depot is an initiative to provide a dedicated place designed to empower our educators with easy access to a plethora of school supplies, materials, and instructional tools where teachers can acquire at no cost. The depot will accept UISD Teacher Bucks earned by the teachers in exchange for classroom supplies. Our mission is to enrich our classrooms by providing teachers with supplies and equipment to aid in the planning and development of their lessons; hence, enhance the student learning.
How it works
Teachers may choose to collect enough UISD Teacher Bucks to redeem. Once ready, they may choose their supplies through the Teacher Depot Online Order Form. Supplies will be ready for drive-thru pick up the following week. Please use the link to reserve a spot to work at the Teacher Depot. Everyone must check in at the Teacher Depot desk and show a current UISD badge. For safety reasons no children are allowed in the Teacher Depot. Only school and district projects may be done.
UISD Teacher bucks
Teacher bucks are the currency of the Teacher Depot! They have no monetary value yet can be earned in various ways to trade for Teacher Depot instructional items. These Teacher Bucks will be given to district staff to give out. They will also be available at district staff development trainings.
What is available?
The Teacher Depot provides work space and an array of instructional materials to produce games, work sheets, art projects, and visual aids to support classroom curriculum. The center includes two computers, a printer, laminating equipment, a poster maker, die cut machine, binding equipment to make booklets, and arts and crafts for projects.
Hours of Operation
Drive thru services will be available every Thursday from 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM.
The Teacher Depot is also open by appointment on the third Saturday of each month from 9:00am-12:00pm Please fill out form to secure your time.
