Ensure Proper Testing Environment Procedures
Campus coordinators should work with teachers to ensure classroom environments meet the following conditions during a Benchmark:
Implement all testing procedures as you would if it were a state assessment.
Students will have until the end of the testing day for all district benchmarks. No test session may continue after the dismissal bell has rung.
The classrooms should be quiet, well-ventilated, and comfortable. Each student should take Benchmark in the class he/she would be in during the state assessments.
Hallways should be quiet and non-disruptive.
Ensure each teacher is aware of CBA/Checkpoint/MAP/Benchmark campus procedures.
Students should receive/use any accommodations that a program committee has agreed on (LPAC, SPED, 504, MTSS) and are routinely used in class
