UISD will give a warm welcome to all new teachers and prepare them for the upcoming academic school year. Teachers will be presented on guidelines, procedures, safety, protocols, reports, and assistance to better help them pave their way in their educational field.

Procedures
All meetings called by Directors, Executive Directors and Management Team Members which involve the attendance of campus staff must be authorized by the District’s Staff Development Director.
Requests must be submitted at least 7 business days prior to the requested meeting/workshop date.
Location of meeting, technology equipment and refreshments will be the responsibility of the person requesting the meeting.
Continuing Professional Education (CPE) will be awarded based on State Board of Education Certification Guidelines.
After you conduct your training, please submit the sign-ins to mastercalendar@uisd.net.

UISD 2024-2025 Trade Off Days
United ISD highly values professional learning hours for each school year. Trade off days are built into the academic calendar as Staff Holidays in exchange for professional learning hours outside of contract time.
