Testing Support Workshops

A prospective special education teacher who has completed all necessary coursework for licensure, but has failed to pass the licensing test at least once, can apply for a workshop designed to aid the special education candidate in understanding test-taking strategies and content necessary to pass the test. A candidate who successfully completes the workshop, and then passes the exam is eligible to submit for reimbursement for the cost of the exam. These workshops focus only on the Praxis tests 5625 (Principles of Learning and Teaching: Pre K - 12 ) and 5355 (Special Education: Foundational Knowledge).

This workshop will be offered by the University of Indianapolis in an online format.

Materials

Participants will need to provide their Score Report from the tests they have taken and not passed. The two workshops will focus only on Praxis 5625 (Principles of Learning and Teaching: Pre K - 12) and/or 5355 (Special Education: Foundational Knowledge).
