Grades are available on the Grades section of Brightspace. I employ the full grading scale in determining grades for this course. Therefore, a “C” means you successfully and competently met the requirements of the course/assignment and not that you did poorly. Receiving a “C” does not mean that you are employing high-school level reading and writing as opposed to college-level writing and reading, the latter of which would be indicated by either a “D” or an “F”). Likewise, an “A” or “B” indicates that you met and exceeded course requirements of college-level reading and writing. 

I have a 24-hour policy for discussing individual grades, meaning that I will not address any grade inquiries until 24 hours after a grade has been posted to Brightspace Grades.
