Abstract:
The article considers a personality-oriented approach to the formation of plastic intonation of future teachers of music in conducting and choral classes. Plastic intonation as a means of creative development of the personality and effective performing interaction occupies a key place in the system of conducting and choral training of students of the faculties of arts. It is plastic intonation that provides the ability of a teacher of music to embody musical content through the plasticity of gesture, energy of movement, facial expressions, and the conductor’s posture, thus ensuring effective communication with the choir. The formation of plastic intonation of students of the faculties of arts in the process of conducting and choral training is most fully highlighted through the prism of the system-value, competence-based, personality-oriented and activity-creative approaches. The personality-oriented approach ensures the holistic and harmonious development of each participant in the educational process. After all, it is based on the recognition of the student’s right to self-determination, selfrealization and active participation in the process of cognition by mastering their own methods of educational work. The personality-oriented approach implies respect for the uniqueness of the student’s subjective experience, which is considered an important source of his individual life activity.
