ERASMUS+ INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC MOBILITY AS A FACTOR IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF PUPPET THEATRE ART PERFORMANCE SKILLS: ORGANIZATIONAL-EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE AND SOCIALPSYCHOLOGICAL ADAPTATION OF STUDENTS OF IVAN KARPENKO-KARYI KYIV NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF THEATRE, CINEMA AND TELEVISION

Abstract:
The article examines the impact of the Erasmus+ international academic mobility programme on the development of professional performance skills of students majoring in Puppet Theatre Arts. It analyses the organizational and educational experience of implementing academic mobility programmes at the Department of Puppet Theatre Arts of the Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary University of Theatre, Cinema and Television. The study highlights the specific features of the professional training of future puppet theatre actors, directors, and scenographers within the framework of integration into the European Higher Education Area. Based on an analysis of students’ practical experience gained through Erasmus+ semester exchanges, international creative laboratories, masterclasses, and festivals, the paper identifies the main directions of developing their performance skills, creative autonomy, intercultural communication, and professional reflection. It is substantiated that academic mobility facilitates the acquisition of contemporary European approaches to working with various puppet systems, movement and physical expression, performative practices, scenography, and interdisciplinary artistic methods. Particular attention is paid to the socio-psychological adaptation of students as a key prerequisite for successful integration into a foreign-language academic environment and effective professional development. The study demonstrates that the experience acquired through international mobility is subsequently integrated into the educational process of the department, contributing to the modernization of professional training and the implementation of the principle of “internationalization at home”. It is concluded that the Erasmus+ international academic mobility programme is an effective factor in the modernization of arts education, the development of professional performance skills of future puppet theatre practitioners, and the integration of the Ukrainian puppet theatre school into the European Higher Education Area.
