Abstract:
An integral part of a healthy lifestyle of senior schoolchildren is participation in sports competitions and physical activity. Modern research on methods of control and assessment of the functional state of various body systems of senior schoolchildren is necessary to solve the main task of physical culture and sports - optimizing the level of health and achieving high sports results. The main tasks of control and assessment of the functional state of various body systems of senior schoolchildren who are involved in sports are, first of all, issues related to assessing the level of development of such functional components as functional fitness, physical performance, general adaptive capabilities, etc. A comprehensive approach to assessing the various systems of the body of senior schoolchildren involved in sports, their functional state of the body is of great importance at different stages of the educational and training process and activity in competitions and at the beginning of sports. Adequate physical activity is the main adaptogenic factor in the system of ensuring a healthy lifestyle of a modern person, which determines its leading importance for the psychophysical development of a person. The choice of methods of medical and biological control and assessment of the functional state of various systems of the body of senior schoolchildren, the most convenient and informative, depends on the tasks set and the form of organization of medical and pedagogical observation. Indicators that are constantly used in the process of medical and pedagogical control should provide an objective assessment of the state of the body of senior schoolchildren, correspond to the gender, age, and qualification characteristics of the contingent. A wide range of indicators can be used in the process of each type of control, if the indicators meet the requirements characterizing the capabilities of various functional systems. The main ones in comprehensive control are socio-psychological, pedagogical, medical and biological indicators. The article shows the use of basic indicators in sports aimed at developing endurance (swimming, rowing, middle and long-distance running, cycling, skiing, skating, etc.) and in speed and power sports (weightlifting, jumping, throwing, sprinting, etc.)
Keywords: methods of monitoring and assessing functional status, various body systems of senior schoolchildren, sports, basic indicators in sports aimed at developing endurance, speed and power sports.
