Abstract:
The article updates the issue of forming a teacher’s reflective position, indicating its priority in openness to change, readiness for innovation, development of critical thinking, ability to comprehend challenges, select effective solutions, act not in a stereotyped manner, but creatively and responsibly. The essence of a reflective position is determined: self-analysis, self-assessment, attitude, which accompany any human activity, including pedagogical.
In professional activity, the technology for the development of critical thinking is in demand in situations with a high degree of uncertainty, the need to demonstrate flexibility in decision-making, the desire to implement innovations, the focus on finding new, non-standard means of solving professional tasks, the ability to comprehend one’s professional and personal experience. After all, each component of educational activity organized by a teacher is associated with designing, comprehending knowledge and the need to predict the activities of their students.
Modeling is close to designing, which involves predicting the course and results of activity, possible events, based on anticipatory reflection; motivation as a process of creating an internal incentive for professional activity, which involves studying and taking into account the psychology of a younger student, his individuality, needs, abilities, interpreting behavior in various situations, which requires a reflective attitude towards the subjects of educational and educational interaction. It is necessary to set the goal of the activity before the student in such a way that he perceives it as his own, and this requires the ability to take a yogic position (decentration) and understand his reaction.
It should be noted that the environment for the formation of a teacher’s reflective position is the student’s educational and professional activity. It is the reflective position that ensures the teacher’s adaptability, his professional mobility, and the ability to effectively respond to the challenges of the modern educational environment.
Keywords: reflection, formation of a reflective position.
