Abstract:
The article reveals the essence and features of the development of the personal culture of future economists in the context of the implementation of the competency approach. The importance of personal culture as an integrative characteristic of the professional training of a specialist in the economic sphere is substantiated. The structural components of the personal culture of future economists are determined and the pedagogical conditions for its effective formation in the educational process of higher education institutions are outlined.
The development of the personal culture of future economists is an important direction of modernization of higher economic education. The competency approach creates methodological prerequisites for the integration of professional training with the formation of value, ethical and communicative qualities of the individual.
The effectiveness of this process is ensured by the implementation of appropriate pedagogical conditions aimed at activating students’ educational activities, creating a favorable educational environment and developing their reflection.
Structurally, the personal culture of a future economist is represented by interconnected components that ensure its integrity and functionality. First of all, we are talking about the value-motivational component, which determines the orientation of the personality, its professional orientations, system of beliefs and internal incentives for self-realization.
The personal culture of a future economist appears as a multidimensional system that integrates internal and external aspects of the professional development of the individual and is an important prerequisite for its competitiveness in the modern labor market.
