Abstract:
The search for alternative directions for meeting the needs of modern users through the widespread introduction of the latest services, progressive technologies, and service models is the main task of library institutions in the current conditions of rapid development of the information society, which aims to provide the most complete information needs in the spheres of education, science, culture, and innovative achievements of the country.
Therefore, in the current realities, the general social significance of informatization for the bibliographic and information-analytical activities of electronic libraries, document processing, which occurs on the basis of the widespread introduction of modern technologies and scientific and technological progress, is increasing. In this context, the bibliographic and information-analytical activities of electronic libraries in modern conditions are acquiring a new quality, diversifying and expanding the range of functions based on progressive technologies.
Modern electronic libraries are a significant resource for improving information and analytical activities. A modern electronic library in modern conditions is an intermediary in social communication as an information and communication system, significant in document processing, which produces and concentrates resources in electronic and traditional form, and promotes free access to them. The main criterion for evaluating the activities of an electronic library is the level of organization of information resources.
The invaluable role of the latest digital technologies is that they make it more attractive and significant for modern web-competent users (scientists, students, teachers) and young people of the "digital generation". Today, the importance of the information activities of electronic libraries in creating scientific and reference resources, databases, electronic catalogs, and providing remote access to remote information resources of other libraries, networks, and information centers is growing sharply in the world. Constant risks and challenges, the complexity and diversity of social processes that humanity is currently facing, as well as the growth of information flows and the accumulation of new knowledge of the younger generation, encourage the use of bibliographic and information-analytical activities of electronic libraries in modern conditions, digital processing of documents for assessing specific situations, which serve in various industries, including the library, as a basis for making important decisions.
Today, the technology for the development of electronic libraries is in a state of intensive transformation, taking into account certain achievements in the development of technologies for library-bibliographic and information support for scientific and educational activities of educational institutions. That is why the development of development prospects and modern activities of libraries of higher education institutions, as a scientific-informational, socio-cultural infrastructure of an educational institution, depends on the state of the management system of technological systems of resource use, resource accumulation, and resource conservation.
