Abstract:
This paper explores the reconfiguration of Pedagogical Action Research in digital environments through the e-PAR (electronic Pedagogical Action Research) cyclical model, within the broader framework of lifelong learning. Grounded in contemporary educational paradigms, the study examines how digitalized action research functions not only as a methodological tool for improving teaching practices but also as a mechanism for developing transversal competencies essential for continuous learning.
The research integrates the The Theoretical Model of Pedagogical Action Research (Antoci & Borozan) and MVODLE (Model of Value Orientations Development in Lifelong Education, by Antoci). The e-PAR model supports the development of professional autonomy, digital resilience, metacognitive transfer, and critical thinking, while fostering ethical awareness in digital learning contexts.
Furthermore, the paper emphasizes the role of e-PAR in transforming higher education by promoting reflective teaching practices, strengthening the culture of pedagogical research, and enhancing digital competencies among both educators and students. The findings suggest that the implementation of the e-PAR cyclical model contributes to the creation of adaptive, resilient, and value-oriented educational systems aligned with global educational strategies.
