Abstract:
This article presents a theoretical analysis of contemporary approaches to the professional training of future educational institution leaders in a blended learning environment. The relevance of the study is justified by the processes of digitalisation of education, integration into the European educational space, and the growing demands on the managerial competence of future educational institution leaders. It is emphasised that traditional approaches to professional training do not fully meet contemporary challenges, which highlights the need to rethink and modernise them.
The concept of ‘approach’ in pedagogical theory is analysed and defined as a set of principles, conceptual guidelines and methodological foundations that determine the content, forms, methods and technologies of teaching. A review is conducted of scientific works by Ukrainian and foreign scholars that explore the specific features of professional training for managerial staff in the field of education. Based on a synthesis of scientific approaches, the main contemporary fundamental approaches to the professional training of future educational institution managers in higher education institutions have been identified, namely: competence-based, person-centred, activity-based, information-digital, integrative, systemic, innovation-project-based, acmeological and blended learning approaches. Their essence, characteristics and significance in the formation of managerial and professional competences of future leaders are revealed.
It is demonstrated that the effective implementation of these approaches in their interrelation contributes to the development of professional readiness for managerial and pedagogical activities among higher education students, as well as the development of digital competence, leadership qualities and the capacity for self-development among educational institution leaders. Particular attention is paid to the blended learning approach, which ensures the integration of traditional and digital forms of education and enhances the flexibility, accessibility and effectiveness of the educational process.
It has been established that the implementation of modern approaches to the professional training of educational institution leaders is a necessary condition for preparing competitive, mobile and innovation-oriented specialists capable of effectively carrying out managerial activities in the current conditions of the educational environment.
