Abstract:
The article is devoted to the study of theoretical, methodological, and applied aspects of preparing youth for family life in the conditions of intensive digitalization of modern society. The study highlights the urgent need to transform traditional educational institutions due to the increasing influence of digital content on the formation of adolescents’ psychosexual identity. Based on this, an analysis of the Scandinavian experience (Norway, Sweden, Denmark) was conducted, demonstrating high efficiency in overcoming the «communication gap» between generations.
It is proven that the quality of interpersonal relationships within the family serves as the foundation for successful preventive education. Drawing on modern scientific research, it is substantiated that open communication and emotional closeness are decisive factors in shaping responsible behavior among youth. At the same time, the risks of «technological mediation» by media have been identified, which propagate commercialized and distorted scenarios of intimacy and gender roles. Under conditions of uncontrolled consumption, such content leads to alienation from real bodily sensations and the extrapolation of destructive partnership scenarios.
Particular attention is paid to analyzing the impact of sexually explicit media content on adolescents’ behavioral attitudes. The authors and the content of regulatory documents emphasize the necessity of implementing media literacy programs that allow young people to differentiate media images from real ethical norms. This formed the basis for implementing a didactic approach to sexuality education as a dynamic system rooted in the Scandinavian traditions of «Education for Life», where the priority is the development of critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and a culture of consent.
Research attention is directed toward the feasibility of implementing verified digital tools (exemplified by the platforms Dembra, Tenk.faktisk, Sex og samfunn, and RFSU) into the Ukrainian educational space.
