Abstract:
The article considers a personality-oriented approach to the formation of plastic intonation of future teachers of music in conducting and choral classes. Plastic intonation as a means of creative development of the personality and effective performing interaction occupies a key place in the system of conducting and choral training of students of the faculties of arts. It is plastic intonation that provides the ability of a teacher of music to embody musical content through the plasticity of gesture, energy of movement, facial expressions, and the conductor’s posture, thus ensuring effective communication with the choir.
The formation of plastic intonation of students of the faculties of arts in the process of conducting and choral training is most fully highlighted through the prism of the system-value, competence-based, personality-oriented and activity-creative approaches. The personality-oriented approach ensures the holistic and harmonious development of each participant in the educational process. After all, it is based on the recognition of the student’s right to self-determination, self-realization and active participation in the process of cognition by mastering their own methods of educational work. The personality-oriented approach implies respect for the uniqueness of the student’s subjective experience, which is considered an important source of his individual life activity.
It is especially effective to use a personality-oriented approach in practical classes of future teachers of musical art in the choral conducting class - as one of the main forms of educational work in preparing students of the faculties of arts for practical work with the choir, where various methods should be used: checking the performance of independently prepared blocks of tasks, clarifying the nature of the works being studied, showing new singing techniques, recommendations for mastering new tasks and analyzing sources of additional information, the ratio of which may vary depending on the specific goal of each task. The effectiveness of this work increases significantly under the conditions of using dialogic teaching methods, exchanging opinions, creating an opportunity for students of the faculties of arts to express their own judgments and make joint decisions.
