Abstract:
The article reveals the features of the formation of rehabilitation skills in future teachers in the process of professional training. The relevance of the study is due to the reform of the education system in Ukraine, the introduction of the concept of the New Ukrainian School, the expansion of the practice of inclusive education and the growth of requirements for the professional competence of teachers in the field of health-saving and rehabilitation activities. It is revealed that a modern teacher plays the role of not only the organizer of the educational process, but also a partner in creating a health-saving environment for each student.
The content of the concept of "teacher rehabilitation skills" is clarified, which is understood as an integrated set of knowledge, practical actions and personal qualities that ensure the teacher’s ability to provide restorative, corrective and health-improving support to students in the educational process. The structure of rehabilitation skills has been determined, which includes cognitive, operational-activity, motivational-value and reflective components, each of which plays an important role in ensuring the effective rehabilitation activity of a future teacher.
The main features of the formation of rehabilitation skills of future teachers have been identified and characterized: the interdisciplinary nature of the content of training, which involves the integration of knowledge from pedagogy, psychology, physical education and medicine; practice-oriented nature of the educational process, which is implemented through pedagogical practice, trainings and modeling of professional situations; subject-oriented approach to the organization of students’ educational activities, taking into account their individual characteristics and level of motivation; systematic and gradual mastery of relevant skills throughout the entire period of study at a higher education institution.
The conditions for the effective formation of rehabilitation skills are substantiated, including the use of active learning methods, the organization of interprofessional interaction of students with specialists in related specialties, the creation of an appropriate educational environment and the integration of theoretical training with practical activities based on pedagogical practice.
