Abstract:
The article provides theoretical justification, as well as detailed disclosure of applied aspects and practical vectors of implementing art therapeutic methods into the general system of musical education of preschool children with special educational needs. The degree of relevance of the work is directly due to the objective need for systemic humanization of the modern educational space and the urgent need to create an inclusive, barrier-free environment, which in the conditions of the ongoing martial law in Ukraine acquires the status of a strategically important task.
In the context of modern challenges, the author considers musical art not only as a traditional means of aesthetic influence or cultural enrichment, but primarily as a fundamental tool for deep psychological rehabilitation, destruction of negative emotional states and effective overcoming of the consequences of traumatic experiences experienced by children in extreme conditions.
The author conducted a detailed analysis of the multifunctional nature of art therapy as a complex interdisciplinary phenomenon, where the key functions – diagnostic, therapeutic, communicative, regulatory, cognitive and developmental – are in close synergistic relationship. It is proven that their complex interaction ensures the holistic harmonization of the child’s internal psycho-emotional state, contributes to the stabilization of affective reactions, stimulation of sensory systems and activation of neurodynamic processes. Attention is also paid to the description of the phased structure of the art therapy process, which is built as a logical sequence: from the initial creation of an atmosphere of unconditional acceptance and psychological safety to the stage of deep sensory reflection, comprehension of the created artistic images and further integration of the received creative and emotional experience into the real everyday life of the pupils.
The author proposes the use of innovative techniques based on the principles of the polysensory approach. In particular, the technique «Color Score of Feelings» is highlighted, which integrates auditory and visual channels of perception; «Rhythmic Circle of Solidarity», which is based on the principles of classical Orff pedagogy; a complex system of musical isotherapy with elements of sand animation, as well as specialized vocal therapy technologies.
The entire represented complex of exercises is based on the use of masterpieces of European musical classics and authentic examples of Ukrainian national culture.
The results of the study prove that such a systemic integration of art therapy approaches allows not only to effectively compensate for existing developmental deficits, but also to significantly reduce manifestations of children’s anxiety, frustration and aggression, which, in turn, allows for a stable modeling of a «success situation», which serves as the basis for successful socialization, inclusion and psychological well-being of children with special needs in the modern socio-cultural dimension.
