Abstract:
The article is devoted to a significant and ambiguous issue in modern conditions – the role and place of perfectionism as a personal quality, which aims to achieve the highest results in the behavior, everyday and professional activities of the individual. In this situation, an ambiguous attitude to this normative process negatively affects the quality and results of education and work, the current state of the economy and culture, the moral-ethical and socio-psychological sphere of the functioning of our society. The urgent task of culture and science is to correct this situation.
Like any social phenomenon, perfectionism is not linear, one-dimensional and unambiguous. It has positive and negative sides, a whole range of median and intermediate states and modifications. Normally, the results of a person’s activity directly and indirectly depend on heredity, predispositions and abilities, pedagogical features of the immediate social and physical environment, education and upbringing of the individual.
Considering that all people are different, and the attitude towards the successes of others is different. There are envy, ill-will, hostility, unfriendliness, etc. due to the impossibility, unwillingness or unwillingness to achieve similar results. In our time of hypertrophied and one-sided social and legal democratization of society, similar aggressive manifestations arise as a result of attempts to compensate for the absence of desired, but not obtained results and achievements.
Under the conditions of free use of the capabilities of artificial intelligence, it is the perfectionist who has the priority opportunities, based on previous experience in training the brain and the entire nervous system, to make rational choices regarding activity and behavioral decisions, create an adequate social microenvironment and determine one's place in nature, competently resolve potential incidents and conflicts, gently overcome one's own mistakes, balance friendly and principled relationships with people, cultivate political neutrality and independence in the interests of psychological protection of human dignity, and implement progressive development of the personality as a life principle.
Keywords: intelligence, logic, skill, thinking, morality, development, perfectionism.
