Abstract:
The article addresses the relevant issue of improving the quality of training for higher education students in the context of the transformation of contemporary pedagogical and artisticeducational paradigms. Based on a systematic analysis and synthesis, and drawing on philosophical concepts concerning the relationship between what exists and what ought to be, essence and phenomenon, as well as the dialectics of the general, the particular, and the individual, the author clarifies the essence and components of modern pedagogical and artistic-educational paradigms and identifies methodological approaches to artistic and educational practice.
It is demonstrated that the outlined methodological approaches are associated with the search for innovations in the professional training of higher education students. Particular attention is paid to the core methodological principles that serve as the theoretical foundation and essence of modern scientific-paradigmatic positions, namely: pedagogical pluralism; complementarity; and hierarchy, which involves the structuring of priorities both for the entire continuous artistic and educational process and for its specific, localized components.
Trends toward the convergence of educational paradigms based on their synthesis are outlined. The functions of artistic and educational activity in the study of innovative approaches to the professional training of future music teachers are revealed. It is concluded that the identified paradigms contribute to aligning the system of training future specialists with international educational standards.
Keywords: European scientific and educational space globalization, integration, higher art education modern scientific paradigmatic positions.
