Abstract:
The active introduction of innovative technologies into all spheres of society, the global informatization of society, the digitalization of higher education contribute to the creation of favorable conditions for the transformation of the modern educational system of higher education through the introduction of immersive technologies (mixed, augmented and virtual reality), which, for the modernization of the educational process, have become an important vector today. Immersive technologies are becoming a key tool in education for personalizing the learning experience. In this context, it is important to increase the optimization of methods of presenting information, student motivation, as well as the active involvement of students in the implementation of such technologies in education and professional activities. Today, the issue of introducing immersive technologies into the professional training of future teachers is of particular importance given the rapid pace of scientific and technological development.
A modern teacher must be able to organize and analyze the educational process using new generation technologies, to design, and not only to possess subject knowledge. That is why the need to form the readiness of future teachers to use immersive technologies in their professional activities is becoming relevant.
Motivating students to master immersive technologies is a key element of their successful training. For this, it is advisable to apply modern educational approaches (VR/AR project competitions, case methods, gamification, etc.) that form soft skills (social and communicative skills) – responsibility, leadership, communication.
The main advantages of immersive technologies are highlighted. It is found that immersive technologies reflect the current state of development of digital information technologies and communications, as well as network technologies. The widespread introduction of information technologies into the educational activities of higher education, the variety of information resources and software tools allow future teachers to acquire skills in working with online information resources; stimulate them to solve the tasks and problems set within the framework of the educational (specific) course, as well as to achieve the maximum result of the educational process.
