Abstract:
The article substantiates the features of formation of corporate culture of future higher school teachers. Based on the study of the works of scientists, the essential definitions of «corporate culture» are determined, the functions of corporate culture of future higher school teachers are highlighted.
We can interpret corporate culture as an established means of activity aimed at fulfilling the tasks set for future teachers of higher education, as a complex, multifaceted system of values, beliefs, traditions, principles and norms of behavior.
Corporate culture is the main tool for achieving the strategic goals of a team of like-minded people aimed at a positive result, at uniting all its divisions around common goals and principles. In addition, corporate culture offers a real toolkit and technology for using the normative and value apparatus in the management of an educational institution, which, in combination with other resources, increases the effectiveness of the educational process and contributes to the successful operation of an institution of higher education.
It should be noted that corporate culture influences the formation of a collective identity among scientific and pedagogical workers and creates a favorable atmosphere for the development of creative initiatives and innovations. In addition, an effectively built corporate culture also helps to reduce the level of conflicts and improve communication within the structural divisions of a higher education institution. It contributes to the creation of an open environment where each member of the collective feels the importance of his contribution and the opportunity to freely share his thoughts and ideas regarding the organization of the educational process and scientific and research work among students and teachers.
It is proven that modern corporate culture is currently in the process of transformation. The structure and functioning of corporate culture are associated with widespread behavioral patterns, the specifics of the educational consciousness of future higher education teachers, inherited in the process of adaptation to external conditions. It is substantiated that corporate culture is an important intangible resource of a higher education institution, as it provides interdisciplinary ties, communicative and informational communication, harmonizes relations between future higher education teachers and, thus, significantly affects the effectiveness of the higher education institution and creative interaction with teachers of specialized departments.
