Abstract:
The article substantiates the theoretical principles of integrating professionally oriented English language training into the process of training future social workers. The relevance of the problem is determined in the conditions of internationalization of the social sphere, expansion of international cooperation and the growing need for specialists capable of carrying out professional activities in a multicultural environment.
The scientific approaches to the formation of foreign language professional competence are analyzed, the methodological principles of the integration of language and professional training are outlined. The structure of professionally oriented foreign language competence of future social workers is revealed. It is proved that the integration of the content of language and professional training ensures the formation of communicative, socio-cultural and professional-discursive competencies.
The integration of professionally oriented English language training into the process of training future social workers is a theoretically and practically justified necessity of modern higher education. It ensures the formation of foreign language professional competence, increases the competitiveness of graduates and contributes to their readiness for international professional interaction.
The theoretical foundations of integration are based on competency, activity, communicative and interdisciplinary approaches. Prospects for further research are related to the development of a structural-functional model of integrated training and experimental verification of its effectiveness in the educational process of higher education institutions.
