Abstract:
The article reveals the functions of controlling the level of economic competence formation in future technology teachers. It generalizes and systematizes scientific approaches to the interpretation of the essence of pedagogical control as a component of the educational process, as well as analyzes research positions regarding its main functional manifestations. Special attention is given to the characterization of control functions that ensure the integrity of the process of forming economic competence, and the possible ways of their effective implementation within the professional training of future technology teachers are substantiated.
The effectiveness of implementing control functions depends on a number of factors, including didactic appropriateness, regularity of application, the presence of internal motivation in students, and the use of individualized and differentiated approaches in pedagogical practice. The forms of control applied in the educational process of higher education institutions are analyzed separately, with their advantages and disadvantages identified in the context of forming the economic competence of future technology teachers.
It is concluded that careful planning of educational activities is necessary to integrate appropriate forms of control that allow for timely tracking of the dynamics of mastering economic content and the formation of students’ ability to apply it practically in their pedagogical activities.
Different forms of control applied in the educational process are separately analyzed, with their advantages and disadvantages identified in the context of forming economic competence in future technology teachers. The appropriateness of implementing combined forms of control, which combine traditional and innovative methods, is emphasized, as it promotes more objective measurement of educational activity results.
Keywords: control, economic competence of future technology teachers, higher education students.
